I asked my son your question and he said it's easy to keep your computer secure. He changed me over to Firefox when I downloaded a trojan attached to a friend's e-mail!
Now the only things which can be opened are the ones I specifically give permission for. Having got used to it, I much prefer it.

l have Firefox (don't know what numbers), its fine other than its a different system when downloading photo's from camera or phone etc, so l have to go back to Internet Explorer, l understand that way.
My pc is on its last legs (using D hard drive, much smaller) something to do with adobe crashed Sunday, all sorts of things keep happening....grrr.. BUT l'm getting a new Laptop very soon.

Not sure what l will use then, probably start off with IE.

Hi Ann I downloaded Firefox 3.6 without any problems, I much prefer Firefox to microsoft and the son and heir is a big fan of Linux
