Well I used to be Jill in East Kent or Jill in Tinsel Town but got so fed up with the endless, endless, endless Happy Crimbo threads last year - or the year before - that I became Mrs Grumpy.

Really I should be Mrs Laugh a Minute but noooo, Mrs Grumpy it will have to be now as I would hate to confuse people by changing it again within a five year period.

I started off as Daffodil Ann..... signed off as Ann, but on a thread one evening there were at least 6 Ann(e)'s, and I found I was getting all confused and answering myself, so started to sign off as *Daff*... seeing as there wasn't another one around.. then changed to my Christmas name, *Peace on Earth* and when I changed back... I stuck with Daff, as that is how everyone had begun to know me.

I chose Daffodil for 3 reasons, in the beginning. The main one was that it seemed like an omen as I had just found out my brother's treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma had been unsuccessful, and he was about to start treatment leading to a stem cell transplant, and it was snowing... and there were two brave daffs poking their heads defiantly above the parapet of snow and ice, so the Daffodil seemed prophetic, somehow , .... and 2, I had just bought a bright yellow car to cheer me up, lol, so I was either going to be Suzee Sunshine or Daffodil...... and the car would have been the other, lololol But there was already a Suzee on the boards....

and thirdly... I had just returned home to Wales after 34 years wandering around the globe and England/NI after my husband, so Daffodil seemed like a good idea, lolol

So, there you go.... oh, and most of my Internet friends call me Daff in real life too.... and so do some of my family, now... I like it!

I was Birdsinanest for a while, and signed off as Birdi as that's what others called me but it reminded me of my junior school days. The school bully called me 'Birdy' so I decided to change to Wildgoose as my relatives are always sending me on a Wild goose chase!

I'm still a bird, though!

as at the time there was a lot of Jac's Jacqui's Jax etc I became Uzzi
edt to say as I live in Spain hence the sun I became Uzzi in Sunshine

I was SueM with twiddly bits thanks to Hayley but GR nicked it so I chose this one to reflect my amazing 'in your face' walking aids...lol

I originally used my REAL name, but decided that was tooo much info so changed to bob from peterborough and bob from bretton but that was confused with bretton in yorkshire, then having got a GPS used the GPS coordinates to give an aproximate REAL position...

had a spell as Camera dodger but dropped that after the gaynor bear relay...
