Lady Cutie, he is such a wag, is our James. But I do feel a sorry for him, in the respect that he is not sure if his godson is going to keep it just as he wants. Hope he is mooching around when we go to the Easter activities. He make me laugh. Will post how we got on. |

Lady Cutie, I too would love a mooch around the house, and I would be in my element. In the opening shots, it showed a carved wooden cherub. I would like to know where James got that from. |

Hi Julia, I watched it and loved the programme, I would get on well with James Cartland, as I like collecting things lol |

Thanks for that Gwyn. Unfortunately, walking around country houses is not OH's bag, but I live in hope when we have been to Carnfield at Easter. We already have the weekend mapped out. They have forecasted rain for tomorrow, so we are going to the garden centre, because on Sunday, OH, hopefully, is planting his new fruit trees on the allotment, whilst I make bread and potter in the greenhouse. |

Hi, did anyone watch this programme. It was a country house about 5/6 miles from where I live. The owner is James Cartland, and second cousin of Barbara. Although this place is on my doorstep, and I have passed it many times, I never knew what it was like, as you cannot see it from the road. Boy o boy, what an eye opener. There is 90 acres, which for the area it is in, is a miracle some developer has not moved in. The house itself, is magnificent, and the contents are beyond description. All I can say is WOW. |
