THE QUEEN'S VISIT TO DERBYSHIRE

The Queen and Prince Philip are visiting Derby, to present the Maunday Money in Derby Catherdral, which is a first, I believe.
Afterwards, she is 'officially' opening the Royal Derbys Hospital, despite it being open in it's present format for about a year. They are also going to visit some of the wards.
My dilemma is this. As this place has become my second home during the last year, on average every ten days or so, should I invest in a new nightie, just in case they visit my bedside, should I be present on that date, which in all likelyhood is possible.
OH fetched me new glasses yesterday, and I have a very fetching red pair, and another in purple, which is, after all, a royal colour. I shall have to go to the Co-op, and see what they have in the line of nighties fit to meet royalty. I just hope that Philip, does not make one of his usual gaffs, and stops one of my fluid lines from flowing, or accidentaly on purpose tries to take the needle out of me hand. Advice very welcome

Well definitely a call for a glam. nightie then, ....not suggesting that you wouldn't look fine in any that you presently own.

Are you thinking of red or purple to go for a coordinated look?....or something more subtle?

Slippers to match too?

How about a new dressing gown ( with co-ordinated slippers) or bedjacket so you look 'decent' if you agree to receive the visitors?

In one respect, hope you don't have the opportunity :-)

Thank you for your imput Gwyn. I think it may have to be a more subtle colour to blend in, or if I wake up, I will think I am in a pchycadelic (sp)nightmare with all that colour. Best get along to the Co-op on pension day and see what they have.
