.au site REPLY BUTTON NOT WORKING Update

Are there any Australians on this site who are logged into the .com.au site and for whom the reply button and the add button are working?

I am about to go and test it again. It was not working this afternoon and as it has now been a week I thought it might have run it's course.

Did you know I am a cynic. Well cynical me says. If everyone has to log into the .co.uk site, won't that boost the numbers for the site. I wonder if there is some type of census going on to rate the usage of the geneaology sites??!!!

Off to test.com.au Back from the testing grounds. Still not working correctly so I've sent them a message.

I have a reply. They are working on the bug. In the meantime I continue to log into the .co.uk site and curse every time I forget and log into .au and can't use the reply buttons.

The Poms have agreed to my temporary pseudo immigration. I have to wear my wellies, my pearls and talk with plums in my mouth, but other than that I can log onto GR through their site.

I think GR need a please explain. I know it will be a waste of time. I am certain this problem belongs in the "unable to be replicated" box.

Well you might laugh SylviaIC. I am fated to have to log into the Poms site for the remainder of my days, or daze. The Oz site is still without its purple button operating.

I've spent the last almost four hours counting voting papers from our election. Woman has rocks in her head and I know what I will be dreaming about tonight. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,................... etc etc.

Now I am "hello Fore Name". Waaaaaah!!! I don't wish to be called Fore Name. What if I married a bloke called ........ ????? This will never do.

I am taking what's left of my marbles and going to play elsewhere.

Fix this problem and I might grace these unhallow halls with my illustrious presence.

I did not read anything rude in your reply. Forgive me if my reply sounded like I did. What you said made good sense particularly as I rarely log out of GR.

I have just returned to the computer after a few hours away. No difference.

It definitely a problem on the Aust site the UK one is working fine. I too was going to let them know of the problem however you will probably receive their "unable to replicate the problem" email back.

Looks like I'll have t learn to log into this site and not the one which comes up automatically.

I was also unable to use the reply button using the Aus site, but as soon as I switched to the UK site it works.
Ive sent GR a message telling them of the problem.

Hope you are getting the proper service now.I wasn't being nasty but have had the odd senior moment myself when I have not been logged in.

I also have a variety of other senior moments.

All right. They don't call me Sherlock for nothing.

If you log onto the genesreunited.co.uk site all the buttons work. Trust the Poms to have working buttons.

If you log onto the genesreunited.com.au site the reply, add, and a few other buttons do not work. Trust the Aussies to have no idea which buttons to push.

and look there is a reply button which works.

Or have they removed the gremlins.

I can not use the Add or the Reply button. Have tried on two threads to post a reply.

Anyone else having problems. Maybe as soon as I post this the problem will be corrected.

Hi Sharon. I am usually signed in. My name is on the top of the screen. I can edit and obviously you can add to the thread. Hmm wonder what is going on. I might sign out completedly and start again.

Hi LG. Hope you are clever enough to read my edits. It's been happening here for about 20 minutes now. When I click the reply button the screen sort of jumps and there is no box to type in.

Off to try Plan A, Attack B, or have a hissy fit.

OK Signed out, and signed back in again. It says hello Aunty Sherlock and all that, but I can not use the reply or add buttons.

Hey have I been whooshed. Dearie me I don't recall being more rude than normal to anyone. I've restricted my four letter words to work, love, and choc (olate).

Just edited and took out some of the intelligence.
