Your daughter should speak to her local councillor or mp about this, the Council are not doing things properly by hiring an idiot and it's coming out of council funds.

My daughter did ring the council and was not very nice.Told the woman the bloke was crap at his job as she(the woman at the council) now has had to deal with a abusive phone call and he needs to be sacked.he can not assume people in and out of that flat lived there or owned anything. Annie

Well they can't seize your daughter's car as she is nothing to do with the woman. She should ring the council and complain.

They Can't !!! It was scare tactics.
The vehicle wasn't registered at that address and a DVLA check would prove That.
It sounds very dodgy

My daughter is a hairdresser.She was out doing peoples hair in there homes today.When she got home she had a phone call from one her customers asking her to go back.She went back and the woman gave her a note that had been posted through her door.It said it was going to cease her black bmw and the number plate no and was from the council.It turns out the woman owes money and the balliffs were watching the flat and see my daughter come out and get in her car.How do these people get away with it without proof. Annie
