Hieveryone,

Does amyone know if there is a site that can be accessed with British Army Records AFTER WW2.
My father enlisted in the army before war was declared but in November 1939 he was sent back to his pre war job of making aircraft engines and then aircraft tyres. After the war the army called him back saying that he still had about 3 1/2 years to serve. I know he eventually went into the parachute regiment but know little else. I would like to fill in a few gaps.

Thanks for your time,
Margaret

Hello Margaret, A few years ago I wanted to find my Grandfathers service records Post WW2. I found a site online which stated only the next of Kin can obtain the service records and there was a fee of approximately £30.00. At present I cannot remember the site details, but I will have a look and get back to you. In the meantime perhaps someone else will have more info for you.
