*waves to Pat*

I was on the Utopia, then I was the schoolteacher in the village, always falling over her pointy red boots due to excess voddy.

I used to do the cafe with Paul and Chris, providing "music" on the jukebox. Chris and I started it up again a year or so later because a few people asked but no one else was awake so we closed it.

BC was always battering at the door after we'd closed.

I loved Bendy Wendy's Pink Plot thread.

I always enjoy Joy's debate threads, they make you think, and are good talking points.

thanks Joy, they were fun....esp with JJ on her roller skates and our many break ins at Sainsbury's and Zeus Man at the front of the trolley:)....haa haa

I have to say, one of the funniest "thread moments" I can recall, is when the lovely Kate gatecrashed the 3 Ferrets/Squirrels or whatever the gaff was called and posted songs from The Sound of Music.....hilarious, I cried with laughter....

Used to enjoy the "Brekkie Club" on General.

Think it was back in 2004 - 5 hosted by Paul and Christine Houselander (sp ) and a few others, every Sunday morning.

T'was the only thread on GR that an Aussie bloke from across the other side of the world could get a decent "Full English" or a "Bacon buttie"......lol
Thats if they didnt burn the lot....lolol

Great fun......:>))

I was thinking of some old threads that I enjoyed in the past. They were on general (chat was chat in those days) and two stand out for me.
The village happenings and the Cruise ship.

Does anyone remember them and do you have special ones that stand out for you?

Pat (I will get a space between t andk if it kills me)
