I don't know, maybe I'm tired, maybe I'm irritable (don't feel irritable but ...)

I've been pootling around in the Tips and Records boards as I am happy to do a few lookups today. There seem to be a rash of threads with no capital letters, no full stops, no other punctuation etc.

And I'm finding them really hard to read today, so am just ignoring them. But is this becoming a more common thing on the "help" boards or is it just me being picky today?

I mean, I have noticed some in the past but there seem to be lots around at the moment ...

im terrible at spelling online, i dont know why because my english is brill in real life lol, but i never use commers and full stopson here, im just plain LAZY lol.

I don't usually worry about spelling and grammar Stray - and on Chat I don't think it matters at all, but when you read some of the "I need help" threads it can be really difficult working out which names go with which areas - or - is this a surname or a place name? Or what is the question?

I think I might go and read a book in case I snap at someone!

Now if you could only apply that pickiness elsewhere....lol


Seriously, I do find if people cannot ask a question clearly, they are not likely to get a clear answer. It's really worth the effort to take the time to ask properly, with readable text. So I do agree there. That's why we have spelling and punctuation for the written word; so people know what is being said, and how.

LOL Teresa - but I am "not right" today and probably should just go back to bed and have a sleep.

Don't worry, I'm just getting over a migraine. Had a weather head yesterday which turned into migraine last night, so still a bit fuzzy.
