What timing Julie, little one's birthday on one day and new baby bro the next, she will want one every birthday lol

It will be an expensive time as they get older and want more and more, with no gaps between the birthdays to save up lol and their 18th and 21sts will be the same week too!

Glad all seems well and hope you can get that cuddle soon

Our grandson was three last month and we have him 4 days a week. Thankfully two of those are half days whilst he goes to nursery, so we get a chance to recover......! He also stays over on a Friday night about once every six weeks.

He never stops chattering and has recently got the the 'why' stage. Unfortunately he can sense when you don't give him a proper answer and asks again until you do.

He is a dab hand on the computer too. He has is own log in into which he types his name to get on and a set of favourite bookmarks to his children's sites. Drag and drop, even printing - he is a little expert

He was a little devil yesterday afternoon - full of mischief. He kept sitting himself on the naught step. At one point he said he was going to sit on the step but had better say beggar first to make it worth his while.....How do you answer that one and keep a straight face.....!

Sadly they grow up all to soon - enjoy whilst you can - even though it is hard work.

Ah lovely!

Our little soldier insists on helping when we make his lunch or dinner. He likes I can Cook on the TV, and wants to help prepare things, but doesn't like waiting while things cook.

Today he wanted a toasted cheese sandwich so he put his own cheese on the bread, but after his Nana put it in the sandwich toaster was being a bit on the silly side despite being told to keep away because it was hot.

Next thing he is waving his hands around and caught one on the hot edge. No real damage other than a tiny blister and a few tears. It didn't stopping scoffing his lunch either.

He went off to nursery and we did tell them to ring if he had any problems, but it seems that he was ok.

Day off tomorrow as his mum looks after him on a Wednesday and will be taking him swimming, which he loves
