"so what "right" Janey did he have to kill .......................CHILDREN those who have very little right except the right to live"

What right do you have to ask me that question?

It's called the right of free speech.

Even though it's foul and unforgivable for you to pretend that I said any such thing, by asking me that question, it's your right to say it. Eh?

By the way, children have all the same rights the rest of us have. Otherwise, it wouldn't be illegal to kill them, or make them eat vomit, or lock them in closets, or beat them.

"He took away the rights of his victims so why should he have any anyway?"

No, he didn't take away anyone's rights. NO ONE can take away anyone's rights. It's really simple.

He killed his victims. They had a right to life. The state has a responsibility to make sure that people are able to exercise their right to life, i.e. to live. That's why the state (that's us) outlaws killing and punishes people who kill other people. To try to make sure we can all keep on exercising our right to life.

If someone is convicted of shoplifting, do they "lose" their right to own anything at all ever again?

If someone is convicted of assault, do they "lose" their right not to have their eyes put out?

Come on.
