Good to hear things are progressing well.

It will be worth it in the end.

Sorry Foggy...I got kicked off the internet for a while, every time I try to look at a tree I can view, it freezes and have to close down and restart :(

Work is 'progressing' lol but oooh it is hard going, everything hurts...especially the amount going out on essential repairs lol, but another few weeks hopefully and it will be as finished as it is going to be. What I do then is a moot point!

Hello young Rose,

Yes I do like to have exact dates backed up with documents, birth, marriage and death certificates.

Lucky for me, my lot are all mainly from Scotland, so i can download images from Scotlandspeople.

How's your enterprise going..?

Yes I like to have them all as it gives verification,plus if I have the birth and marriage I need to finish them in death.:}}}}}

I have most of the certificates of direct ancestors, including death. It is interesting to see cause of death. But if you can't afford it, it is not necessary as long as you have dates.

Thanks for replies..

that's interesting Florence ( my nan's name lol) I haven't bought many certs as yet, and none have been death certs as i had info from 'in memoriam' cards luckily.But obviously worth taking into account what might be found there

I was just reading a thread where someone was hoping to find an exact date of death...and it occured to me to wonder whether I would go on searching for that myself ? would you? if all the other details were there would you bother/ do you? lol.

Do you HAVE to have every detail once you have someone in your sights, or can you move on without having to know?
