Although I think what you have done is a great idea and could bring in so many leads.... hope it all works out for you.

I do all my research at Ancestry but keep a tree here at GR for other peoples convenience.
I downloaded my gedcom from the other site and then uploaded it both to GR and to the family tree builder I use off-line.
The off-line one opened absolutely perfectly, nothing is missing, all information is correct and as it is at Ancestry.
The GR tree now has most years of birth set as "0".
The dates of birth mostly read Oct Nov Dec.
The notes section on virtually every person on my tree has line after line of meaningless letters and numbers.
Marriage dates and places now appear under baptism source of data.
I'm bu****ed if I'm going to waste my time re-typing the details of almost 700 people so bye bye GR.
And can I have my 9 quid back please.
