gone?

I was listening to the radio whilst painting today , and it was a phone in of peoples' opinions on the 'lobbying scandal'...and what came across was the expectation that our politicians should be morally upright basically...and it occured to me that perhaps this is why so many are undecided as to how to vote, that there are now so few 'passionate politicians' who go into politics to 'change the world'...thinking of the likes of Aneurin Bevan and 'old labour'...or even (though i am as far from agreeing with her politically as I ever was), Mrs T.

But away from politics even, are there many people who inspire you? Real 'leaders of men'?
