Went in on Saturday pm to one of the stores in the city, but only one left so got that for son, and will pick up another where I have them reserved for us, on Tuesday I think.

There is another one reduced the Salter one which is now £8.99, the woman in the store said she got one of those, she hadn't noticed the Cookworks one on offer, but the Salter one is a large oval shape and the one I got is taller and round, so won't take up so much counter space. I gave my son his for Easter and he was really pleased, it will help him as his oven has died on his cooker, so he had hobs, microwave and now the slow cooker, should be able to manage for a while till he can sort out another cooker.

These are back in stock now, just ordered rwo to be held at the store near the station as it's easy to park there - one for here and one for my son, as his cooker is dying, the oven knob has broken off, luckily when the oven was off not on lol
He can still use the hob and has a microwave but is looking out for a secondhand cooker, meantime he can use the slow cooker, available from Easter Tuesday.
A store in the city has them from Easter Saturday but I might not be able to get in to pick them up and would have to carry them to the car, sigh, so better to wait and get them from the other place.

I will try and get one myself first if they have more in stock, hate paying a delivery charge and it makes the price back up almost to full price, cheap as it is. I have had cookworks stuff before and it's fine and the reviews are numerous and very good, Jean.

Never been fond of this make, though cant say about the slow cooker. Still not a bad price, delivered to your door, too.

A***S have a Cookworks 3.5 l. Slow cooker on offer at half price, down to £8.49 from £16.99 altho I can't find any in stock at my local stores, it is still available through mail order but there is nearly £6 deliver charge I think. It has many excellent reviews so that will be the one for us I think, if I can get one soon from a store nearby.
