A baby boy abandoned near here bout 2 weeks ago,
behind a spar shop, in risca
he was found by a 14 year old lad and a lady tried to revive him,
but he died in hospital,
police appealed for his mam to come forward, and showed items of clothing,
they arrested her yesterday,
and have realeased her on bail, shes had medical checks,
now they gotta find out what happened

locals appealed for him to be given a name and buried,
so local police called him Patrick after as they think he was born st patricks day

We here in Stoke-on-Trent had a similar sort of thing happen, a baby was left on the steps of a mosque, poor little mite died too, people living in houses opposite said that they had seen the carrier bag but thought it was gym stuff that had been dumped there and didd'nt give it to much thought, they were mortified to find that it contain a baby one lady on t.v. was absolutely beside herself with grief and shame sobbing her heart out

These babies are left in the hope they will be found and helped. What a pity help doesnt reach the mothers in time. How can you conceal a pregnancy, I'd like to know. With most people its obvious quite early.
