Update

Thanks to a kind lady who sent me a pm I have now discovered that the pub still exists. It is now called Churchills, and is in Chorlton Street. I have been able to look at a few photos of the place on the net, and my cousin will certainly be able to visit the pub when she comes over from Canada.

Hi all

Many years ago around the 1940's or 1950's my Dad's cousin was landlord of the above pub. It was in a street just off Piccadilly in Manchester. Can anyone remember the pub, and if so which street it was in and what building stands on the site now.

The reason is that Pete and his wife emigrated to Canada. They have now passed away but their daughter, born in Canada, is due to come to Manchester for a holiday and would dearly love to visit her parents pub, or at least visit the site it stood on if there is a different building there now.

Hoping someone can help.
