If you click on "Search' and it brings up the page where it bring up boxes - Historical, Family Trees etc. There should be over on the extreme right Old or New Search - are you seeing that?

Elisabeth - I don't see anything like Old or New search under "quick links"!

All I see is Home > Family trees > Search > Collaborate > Learning Centre > DNA > Publish > Shop . . . . the rest of this panel is blank.

At the top right of the page, just under 'quick links' does it say Old Search or New Search? You can swap over between them, and I think the one you are used to is Old Search.

Has the home page on Ancestry changed or is it something I have done?

The home page I have now, apart from name, asks for Birth year & death year and birth country & death country.
Also a box asking for "Only show results from the UK and Ireland." I can't even put a birth etc. within a few years.

This is different to what I used to get. I used to be able to put in what country to concentrate on, clicking on this box I could select whatever country I wanted. This facility is not there anymore . . . . is it something I have done?
