Absolutely Mummo... it is the correct thing to do... we are British, after all, lolol ;¬))

Jean, I am trying to work out ways of saving water myself... but it would involve about 4 water butts, and we only have one..... they aren't cheap, either, are they?

Hi ~~~~~~
Hot summer and what will we be doing............moaning that its too blasted hot, lol.
Weather here down south has been a right mixture today, rain, wind , sun and even saw a rainbow when we were down Southsea looking out over the Solent.

My OH was talking about getting some guttering on his shed to catch rain water. I think I had better encourage him. Trouble is he wants to do so much.

~~~~~~ to everyone.... well, we have had all the year's weather in the same day here today.... rain, hail, sleet, and then brilliant sunshine and steam rising from the ground, lol!!
Emma, just join in whenever... I know it can seem hard when everyone seems to know each other so well..... and quite a few have met up in *real life* too, which adds a different dimension... but we were all new once, and we don't mean to be rude.... sometimes the threads flow so quickly that we can't keep up... ok, I can't!! I am a slow typist!
Carol, you are soooo right!
BC..... now that is a new conspiracy theory.... I am into those at the moment.... the whole world is conspiring against me!! But I reckon this time they have got it right.... I can feel it in me waters! ;¬))
Rose, make the most of it.... we are all going to be on standpipes by July!!
Afternoon Daff and welcome to the boards, Emma. Yes, I heard that rumour, Daff, I think it is a ploy to take our minds off this long ghastly winter! lol BC XX
It would seem it is a UK wide thing, Emma....... not just for Wales!
We have had sleet and hail, here, as well, lol.... but the forecast specifically mentions June, July and August.... and they have been consistently correct, so I am more inclined to believe them than the Met Office, lolol
Hello by the way.... are you a new poster? Nutty bunch on the boards, lol.... but they are also a fabulous crowd, mostly.
A Welsh firm are predicting one... and they have been right about last winter, and summer...... so, should we start getting in the suntan lotion and bbq coals now, while they are cheaper, lol
