Anyone know of a reliable perfume sales site in the UK that I could get this from? I have a yearning to use it again but it was discontinued here.
There is some on ebay and some sites in America and Korea but prefer not to chance the perfume not being authentic and having to pay loads of postage.

I used to love this but only had one bottle before it stopped being available.
It's by Charles Jourdan.

Liz, Have you googled it. I would imagine you have. There is one site which offers free shipping. I would look at the site for the business name and see what they offer in the way of sales.

We recently purchased some aftershave from USA. It arrived in good order and quite quickly.

Thanks, Aunty S, I did that and found a couple of American sites and it worked out quite cheaply for the perfume, but I didn't check on the postage.
Will look into it further, what site did you use, could you pm it to me please and I can look for the perfume on there?

I haven't had a signature perfume for years, it used to Chantilly by Houbigant and that got me so many compliments but it was when I was in my thirties and might not be right for me now, and that has to be sent for too I think, don't think it is around in the shops anymore.

I was looking at some in Debenhams the other day and there are so many now, it was too confusing. I did fall for the Lola bottle tho and the perfume is lovely but very expensive.

I wouldn't look at those perfumes like Britney and Katie Price etc I want something less commercial if that makes sense.
When I was in Malta a girl got on the bus and she smelled wonderful, as she got off the same time as us, I asked her what it was, Midnight Poison she said but I think when I have tried it on me it smells a bit heavy.

Just a tip for perfume: Keep it in the fridge, I keep mine in the butter tray, it will last for years this way. With our hot summers here if perfume is left just on your dressing table it will go off very quickly. It also stays at a constant temperature and I am sure this also helps.

Hi, Liz, you have expensive tastes, the perfume is discontinud now but you can still buy it mainly in the u.s.a. the cheapest I could find was £35 for 30ml. the larger sizes go up to £ 75....there are a few sites if you google it .....I thought I paid a lot for my fav perfume "La.Perla" it is Italian, but I have found as we get older what used to be our fav smellie no longer smells the same, I now can only wear certain brands, as the aroma fades in a very short time.
I too keep it in the fridge its a very good tip....

Love Jean xx

Julie, that made me laugh! One of the perfumes I used in my late twenties was Charlie, funnily enough lol, and I had a boyfriend who worked on the rigs so we wrote to each other while he was away. One day I put a big lipsticked kiss on the back of the envelope and sprayed it with Charlie perfume, ( must have made everyone's mail smell lovely)

When my fella came home later that week he said You did embarrass me, I got the bundle of letters to hand out and smelled the back of that one with the lipstick kiss on, was taking the mickey out of all the chaps wondering who it was for, handed out the letters and found it was for me!
Ooops, lol

Thanks for the info Aunty S, wll have another look when I have more time, I thought I found some on an American site for about £16 when I worked out the rate from the price in dollars, but not sure if it would be the real thing.

Had another squirt of Lola when I went out yesterday, and also Daisy by the same company, smelled wonderful from every angle as I walked up the road afterwards lol

Will let you know if I get some, it wasn't that expensive when it was available here, I mean no more expensive than some around now and cheaper than many.

It had a lovely bottle too.
I haven't kept perfume in the fridge before but always keep it in it's box or in a drawer or cupboard as perfume needs to be kept cool and most importantly away from the light.
