5lb 5oz is quite big enough for the person who is having the baby, I should think!!

hi daff

yeh shes getting chatty now round everyone , she used to be shyer than she is,
she was jabbering away to dad/howie, as he popped into daughters house same time as us, and little one was so excited telling him how thier dog meggie crept upstairs with her , while mammy was in hospital looking after baby brother, and she let meggie sleep on her bed with her,
(she was giggleing cos she knew the dog not really allowed upstairs)
she calls dad gangee, same as our daughter always has

our grandson was allowed home yesterday,

hes tiny, 5lb 5oz, he lost lot of his birthweight, but is gaining now,
ive never seen such a tiny baby , his hands are like paper,
and his little head is so small,
hes gorgeous tho,
lots of dark hair,
his sisters so blonde,
shes very pleased with her new brother,
and even told great grandad howie, to come and see her new brother,
