I, too, if I see someone wearing a cross, crucifix or Star of David, also if wearing a skullcap or turban, I put them into a religious category.

It's a long time since I held any faith, but I DO have my father's crucifix on my bedside table. On the point of death, I shall most likely grab it and say all my prayers....lol....BC XX

Nowdays they dont stand for any reason other than fashion.

If it was dangling down near your waist and made of wood it may be different,,:}}}}}}}

From my viewpoint, I feel uncomfortable. When I see someone wearing a cross, crucifix or Star of David I automatically put them into a religious category.

If they were bought for religious reasons but are now being worn as fashion accessories then yes I do think it's a little hypocritical. But I still loves ya:-))

Relates to others no doubt too.

I have a number of crosses and chains. I became agnostic in 2004.

If I wear the crosses as fashion accessories without an acknolwedgement of faith does that make me an hypocrite?

Nicely now...lol
