	The lunchtime service at the Temple was excellent, if I say so myself. The sermon by the Rev. Smith surpassed his usual high standards and Messrs Bell and McCallan were on top form as well. We even had peanuts to accompany the sacramental offerings of cheese cubes and black pudding, but sadly the pickles ran out very quickly. Sadly, I missed the start of the evening service, so decided to stay at home and watch Clockwork Orange with a glass of milk. I hope everyone else has had a nice day :-)
