Transferring Detail From One Tree To Another

Please can anyone help - I hope this is not a stupid question - but is there a simple way to transfer detail from one tree to another. I presently copy by hand then transfer afterwards having gained tree owners permission first of course.

I am wondering if their is an easier way not being very good on computers.

Thank You so much.

Hi David.... there used to be a cut and paste facility on the tree... you could then do a few at a time, but... it is still tedious. I haven't transferred any data for some time, and I know GR have been fiddling with the system again, so it might be different... you clicked on copy, and it would put it onto a clipboard... then you went on to the next rellie and clicked the details... I used to do it a couple at a time, and in family groups, otherwise I would forget who was who!

Good luck
