Help please - Someone kindly helped me and I now have on my threads not only my answer from her but 122 replies to her from other people. How do I get rid of all these.

Oh dear.... not sure how that happened.....

Have you got into one of her (my?) threads, or a thread by someone else that we have both added to?

A thread is the bit that you see when you go into the board... it will come up as the name of the Original Poster... on this thread, that is you.

You can delete this entire thread, as you started it, so you control it.

I can only delete my own post... that is this one... as the thread is not *mine* it is yours.

On the left under tools (the green panel on the side) it gives you a list of all the threads you have added to... some will be your own, but others will be the ones that others have started, but you have added to....

So... all those where you started the thread... you can delete the lot

Where you have gone into a thread, say by me.... you can only delete what you have put on it....

If it still appears in the *my threads* bits... then you still have posts on it... you'll have to go in every one.

There is no need to do that though.... you don't have to delete, as it doesn't use up any space on your pc. All the info is stored on GR's hard drive, so to speak.

If you want, I'll put up a practice thread for you to have a go at deleting an answer to me, lol

Thanks again Daff,

After all that - I think I will leave the 122 replies where they are.

Wanted to get rid because of the space, but seeing as its not my space I wont bother.

.Regards Patricia
