Joanne if you have sent them a message it will show as a sealed envelope, if they have read it it will be 'open'....unfortunately the names still stay on this site even if the person has left.

Hi Joanne,

You cant unless you are having a one to one with them such a FB or MSN..if you mean this site you wont be able to either,what happens is you click someone name on here and send them a message direct that only they can open and see so keeps it private.it can take a few or more days before a message can be answered depending how often they visit this site or see GRs alert via their email address.
