because I know I shouldn't, but had to have a little chuckle when I read of two people arrested when trying to take a body on to a plane at Liverpool airport over the weekend.
Bless him, 91 and wearing sunglasses, and I presume in a wheelchair........ staff became suspicious when they tried to check him in and the two people said they 'thought he was asleep' :-)

Why were they taking him on the plane do you know?

Who knows? Although we might like to guess. The ladies concerned are reported to be German Nationals. The gentleman's name was Curt Willi Jarant and they were trying to board a plane to Berlin

They were taking him to Belgium. Not sure if he lived over here or was on holiday.
I fully understand anyone wanting to take someone home for a funeral etc, but even if they got him through check-in I just cannot begin to imagine how these two ladies were going to get him on and off the plane.

I shouldn't have laughed, I know, because it is sad.

It costs a lot of money to fly a body home from abroad so maybe they couldn't afford that and were trying to cut costs.

Kids with special needs are not weird or odd. They only want what everyone else wants...to be accepted.

Possibly - they were on the news a little while ago and said they thought he was still alive, though it was reported that police thought he had died the previous day.
