oh Annina - what an absolute tragedy!!! know where you're coming from with that though - when my lovely husband died fairly young I decided that in the great scheme of things, nothing really mattered much any more - anything goes wrong I just think "So what!!" Life is too short - nothing can be that bad again - and my motto which I live by is

"A tidy house is a sign of a wasted life"

It took the suicide of my 24yr old son to make me realise that you should live for today,tomorrow may not arrive.

Also, worry is a wasted emotion, if you can do something about a situation,do it. If you can't do anything then worrying will not change the outcome.
