just received one says that by the summer petrol prices will hit £1.50 a litre....................are you concerned about all the rises.

PP you are very lucky, in this area the cheapest is 119.9 and the dearest is 121.9.

It is horrendous that it is going up so much. It will particularly affect those pensioners who live in country areas where public transport is useless.

People please dont forget that our loyal chancellor, when he dropped the VAT rate to 15% later added 2p per litre to make up the shortfall in tax....

with me so far?

well the cunning " man" has NOT had the decency to remove his 2p since he raised VAT back to 17.5%

also realise that EVERY increase in fuel duty incurs a similar rise in the VAT!! a double whammy that has apparently gone unnoticed!!
