Wend sounds like a person after my own heart. I'll frame anything and everything. |

B & Q online have beech effect frames (H)54cm x (W)24cm for £5.98, including fixings, which look good to me. I don't know what size your photos are though. |

You can also buy acid-free paper at any stationers and cut it to fit the frame, place over the back of the mountboard and photos and then put the hardboard backing on. If you live in Sussex, I'll do it for you!!! |

JustGinnie - thanks for that info - I'll have a look because would expect that either of them could be hung either way. |

Buy a reasonably priced frame that you like. Take it along to a framers and ask them to cut a piece of mountboard (which you choose) to fit the frame and tell them how you would like the apertures cut for the photos (take those too). If they say they will do it all for you, say no, you just want the apertures cut and you can do the rest (easy peasy, ask me if you want). You may want a hardboard backing cut too and easy to pull back staples put in (which will take them 5 minutes to do). Hope this helps. |

I've got photos of my daughter, self, my mother, grandmother and great grandmother which I'd like to display in a picture frame showing all the matriarchal line. |
