marriage certificate

Could you go back and look up the births of the persons on the marriage certificates? You would know they were born around 20 years before they were married. The groom would be fairly easy to find.

I was going to suggest electoral rolls but if you know where they are living it would not be a problem. So put that idea in the stupid box.

thanks trying to trace a relative and not quite sure enough of year of birth could be out of three certificates found

can anyone tell me if the birthdates of the bride and groom appear on the certificate?
marriage took place in the 70s
