Hello,

I have been trying to contact the support team with the following message:

"Since I joined the site I have suffered problems with your search facility. For example; a "search all records" will report perhaps 40 exact matches found but when I try to display any of the categories I get a report that "oops" no records are found.

Now the situation is worse. The error report "Bad Request (Request Header Too Long)" appears even before I commence a search.

I have cleared my cache and even deleted all history. I have also tried in Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer but the problem persists.

I have been building and programming computers for over 30 years so am not a technological moron. But have neared the point of demanding a refund of my Gold membership.

PS.

O/S is Windows XP Professional"

AND GUESS WHAT................. Having typed in the message, I click on 'Preview' ..................... and get a white screen with the error message:

Bad Request (Request Header Too Long)

I can only hope that either someone from the site administration read this or one of you good folk has an answer (or even an email address for support).

PS This is my forth attempt, in third browser at posting this message (that error message again)

It might be quicker to send them a letter....there is an address in Oxted. You might find that in the home page.

Good luck

Thanks for the replies.

IF I get a response from site administrators, I'll let you know (But I'm not holding my breath)
