There is a post on TTF dated April 8, in which Diane posted yesterday.

And one on Chat:

Diane, the board rule is one post per subject. The risk with multiple posts is that multiple people will see different threads and start doing the same research and offering the same tips and pointers in each one. As you see, this could duplicate effort and isn't really fair to other members.

The best idea is to delete this thread and the one on Chat. You can add a post to the one on TTF to bring it back up to the top of the list. The problem is, as far as getting help from other members, that there may be none anyone can offer.

As far as people who do know him seeing your search here, the best thing to do is make sure he is in your tree and regularly search trees to see whether any other member has him in theirs.

What you might do with your post on TTF is edit it to put the info in the subject line as here, and enter "Sadler" on the surname line so that anyone looking at that list specifically will see it.

Tree seaches and matches are the best hope of someone related finding you, though.

(Anyone with suggestions for Diane, I strongly suggest going to the TTF thread linked above.)

Best of luck.

Ah, google found yet another thread on TTF

Ah yes, and others on the Sadler "surname board" ... including this one to which I replied in October 2009 but no response from Diane ...

Diane, look on the left and click on the "My threads" link. That will find you all the threads you have started. It would be a good idea to delete all the old incomplete ones and focus on the most recent one on TTF, but make sure "Sadler" is in the surname line to put it on that "surname board".

(Diane, I've added more info to your thread on Chat
