was due at Alicante airport tonight for 2 weeks with us - due to the vulcano disruption she cannot get here until next Friday so will only be here for 1 week. She is upset and so am I - but cannot do anything about it.

What a shame Mary, and it seems to make it worse because there is nothing anyone can or could do about it. Better safe than sorry though.

Very strange here with no aircraft flying. Very quiet, we live near a small local airport but all their planes are grounded as well, even the little local ones and helicopters are not flying.

Have my phone on loudspeaker trying to get through to thomas cook we are due to fly out sunday 3pm for a weeks hols in tunisia on the website it says if you are flying before midnight sunday contact them so you can change but when I spoke to them they said flights are going from Cardiff from 7pm tonight , but said they will put me through to another department been listening to some horrible singing for appox 15 mins now , if you see on sky news it says no flights til at least 7am tomorrow morn
