Morning Puss Babes and All, and what a lovely sunny morning it is again her today.
You should have my vets bills, which average £800-£1000, per year, and that is for only one dog. Three years ago, she had an operation on her head, and it cost almost £4000, and had to be done in Birmingham, by a specialist vet.
Yesterday OH fetched her back from up the vets, and it was £172, for a couple of overnight stays, and have her feet tended to. She has a form of Dermatitis on them. On top of that, her thyroid tablets were £48, and her special diet biscuits, another £13.
Then there is the cost of her grooming. She goes to the Pet Parlour, 6-8 times a year @ £35 per time.
To say we love her, is an understatement.
Oh yes, she is a Cocker Spaniel
Have a very nice day all

A large part of the cost could be 'danger money' to insure themselves in case of bites/scratches etc. Do you have a dangerous chi?
