Maybe her phone is out of order, or she has put the receiver down awkwardly. Could you get the operator to test the line? This happened to me when trying to ring my son once and as he was expecting my call I was worried. Got his local police to check at his address, they found him having a diabetic hypo.

Jean I wish it was that simple, I have been on the phone often today so I put 30euros of credit on and now I can't contact anyone in the UK.
