Tena Lady, I have found, is the answer to the problem of, ahem, sweet peas when you're down the bottom of the garden. Really saves me those marathon leaps up the garden to the house, which really hurt my arthritic knee and save me having to put on a fresh pair of 'dirty' trousers after dropping my mobile phone down the loo in the rush!!! I don't actually go out there with a torch at night myself, but send the old man out to spray around because, apparently, it confuses the foxes and sends them into next door's garden to do their business, as well as being good for the shrubs! :-)) |

Gotta go and have a pea (not dwarf!) and tidy up my gardening stuff outside (bloomin' hell, it's dark out there - I'll have to take a torch), but I'll be back! |

Be serious now Mac - this girl has obviously got very green fingers - she plants dwarf peas and gets a bonus of mushrooms - can you do that? I can't. Hope you got on ok with your dwarf pea, btw - perhaps you could plant a few mushroom spores yourself too. Anything will do - do you have an old pair of damp slippers by any chance - they'll be fine x |

This has made me laugh! Any sign of the peas yet - they probably won't stand a chance with all those mushrooms. Was it your own old mushroom compost that you used? If so, I'd start again with the peas in new compost, if you've got any seeds left. If they're coming up too, though, 2 for 1, eh? |
