Credit v Debit cards - a lesson learnt :-(

I am in the process of trying to get my money back after ordering and paying for goods from Vergo, who have just gone into administration.

I ordered goods on two occasions, just a couple of days apart, the first (and more expensive) I paid using a debit card, the second I used my credit card (just because the debit card wouldn't go through!).

The credit card payment is ok - that I will definitely get refunded, the debit card payment is uncertain, although as it is a visa card there is some hope through chargeback (I think that is what it is called)

Hopefully this time I have really learnt the lesson....credit wins every time!!!

The bank are sorting out the debit card side Sandie - there is a bit about visa card chargeback on the moneyexpert site, so all I can do is wait and hope. But really all I want is my furniture!!
