Tree builder is not working

This is an old thread.

If I remember correctly the member concerned had a satellite internet connection - rather than the usual broadband - and all the usual solutions i.e. making sure your software is up to date and clearing your browser cache regularly, didn't work for him.

I am a new member to genes, and every thing is fine except the tree builder. and also opening my contacts tree's.
genes advice is to lower the security on my computer.
which is bad advice, or try ctrl 5.
this does not work and I am ready to give up.
Did you find a cure.

I raised a query with support a couple of weeks ago because tree tree would not load. They replied quite quickly but without a solution but subsequently elevated the problem to technical support. Since then I have been unable to obtain a reply.

Whichever route I take to load any tree I cannot get a tree to load. I can the database that supports the tree but I cannot get the tree to appear. I have tired this on two computers, with three different browsers, all fully up-to-date, without success.

The cache has been cleared in each of the browsers (IE8, Mozilla and Chrome). I have no problems with other sites or software with my installation here. I would be interested to hear if there are other members with similar problems or if anyone could propose a solution.

The lack of response from support is also rather galling - what is current experience of members with this?
