Yes, it is snowing about 35 miles up the road today, towards the Peak District.. Down here in the foot hills, it just feels cold enough to appear.
Lawdy, lawdy, the plants are so confused.

My son sent me a message yesterday to tell me it was snowing in Llanberis - about 17 miles away from us.

The sun was cracking the flags here though although it is blummin freezing at night. I refuse to put the heating on in May - have dug some woolies out again.

We had a snowstorm here in Sheffield at teatime yesterday,I don't know about confused plants,my heating has been altered up and down, more often than a tarts knickers this spring.

Hi Annina, how's you. Yes I agree with you about the tarts knickers and the heating. I'm having to crochet to keep me hands circulated. Just going to flick the heat button back on. I'm not going to sit freezing for nowt nor nobody. The bill will get paid, no matter what. LOLOL

That's nice for you Mick.
The elderly guy who phoned this information in to the local radio station this morning, thinks it could be a good sign.
Back in 1976, in June, they had snow in Buxton, north Derbyshire, and had to cancel an important cricket match.
The next day went on to be the beginning of a long heatwave.
Let's hope he is right.

Weather is all to pot.. They say we are getting February weather...I think they are right.
I read some place that scientists (Sp) are saying it is all to do with the ash cloud, cant remember where I read it though.

I hate to upset you all, but it's quite warm here in the North East. I've got all my washing dry and I even went out shopping without a coat.

Mind you, on Monday and Tuesday I was back in winter clothes.
