They are all back outside now..... I went and got the tall buttercups I am *growing*... well, the leaves are stunning, and these are tall and stately looking... anyway, I grabbed a stem of flowers, and wafted it outside the window then shoved it in a vase of water on the windowsill, and bit by bit they have all followed the scent, lol..... also put a dish of water on the outside sill.... to attract them back out... it seems to have worked a treat... there's clever I am, boyo, lolol !! |

I had a lily beetle yesterday... squished it, lol.... it wasn't near the lilies, though they have had something nibble on them. |

Saw my first Ladybird of the year on Monday, and no, it was not a Lily Beatle.LOL. Plenty of other coloured flies, eg,red, white, green, about in the greenhouse and on some plants, but they get a severe dose of ther Bug Gun. Needless to say, I live near the now defunct American Adventure, and am pretty good with the gun. |

Daff I never understand how ladybirds find their way in even though there are no open windows. |

find their way in through my open windows, but can't find their way back out? They are just so dim!! I have 3 huge bumble bees buzzing around, a dragonfly (which is huge) and a damsel fly, which is much smaller... plus an assortment of hoverflies ... no butterflies at the moment, mind, they seem to have got the knack. |
