1906 must have been a good year for Grandmother births....

My mothers mother was born 16th January 1906.....she died in 1982 when I was 20,...... poor old mum had only lost my dad the year before.....to lose your husband and mother within a year of each other is tragic, but shes a tough old bird, she celebrates her 83rd birthday next week...

I`m going to be a Grandma for the 1st time myself in September, if i`m half as good as my mum and Gran I will have done a good job.!!

Your grandmother was born the same year as mine........................wished I had asked her questions when she was alive but then at 10 you were not interested in family history

Dear All

Hello

Hope you are keeping well.

Today, is the day my much loved grandmother came into the world.

My Nana was a very lovely lady. She never caused trouble and always put out a hand to help people, despite very hard times.

She gave her all to raise her family.

I miss her much today and always.

Take care all
Very best wishes
xx
