While checking through records I've found that many of my relatives were from W.Ham. Does anyone know what area this covered

Just a point relating to West Ham, there used to be a West Ham Open Air School, based at Fyfield Essexs..

I used to live in the area just a stones throw from West Ham football Ground.

In the 1800 there were many rows of excellent houses built and there were numerous Green spaces and parks.
It was quite a mixed area of wealth and poverty.
If youk now the names of the roads/streets your family lived in try Google for the maps as many of the places still exist, I have done this for the houses that my family members lived in and have attached some of the pictures to my tree.

If I can help in anyway just send a messsage to me.
