Hint from me, Wenders

Keep your eyes peeled for Argentina games. Maybe you can't appreciate the beautiful game, but there's a fair bit of eye-candy on show.

Promise!

maggiewinchester Report 9 Jun 2010 23:22

I'm dreading it - I live alone, but know it will be very hard to find a programme I want to watch - not everyone's interested in watching men kicking a ball around - and being overpaid to boot!!
What's so special about it anyway?
As for 'eye candy' - give me rugby players every time!!

BB's on at the same time - even worse!!!

Now, ladies

From tomorrow I'll be down at the Isle of Wight festie - loads of good music and also a big screen for watching the football in case the music isn't to my taste.

Keep up with us on ITV2

(and, Maggie, before you dismiss eye-candy to the realms of rugby, spare an eyeful for Guiterrez playing for Argentina. His home team is the Magpies of course..)

...okay, may watch Argentina for 5 minures or so - then the eyes glaze
over......
ball goes here... ball goes there...... 'X' takes a 'dive' etc....

I got Germany in the sweepstake at work .. still won't watch them if I can avoid it.......

suzian

suzian Report 10 Jun 2010 00:30

I'll guarantee it'll not be that way, Maggie

ball goes here... ball goes there...... 'X' takes a 'dive' ...

Who is that man playing on the left hand side? Dark haired, dark eyed, built like (insert your own analogy)....

Has he scored? Looks that way....

Go, Jonas!

And remember, The Toon needs you!

It gets worse than the world cup - wimbledon is coming
The sound of all those young ladies (?) grunting and groaning as if either severely constipated or in the throes of a self induced orgasm is awful - sometimes one wonders if they're coming or going!

supercrutch Report 10 Jun 2010 11:40

I will not be watching (it's not a proper game, give me rugby any day), neither will OH because he prefers rugby too.

I will be hibernating, reading and researching and watching all the TV recordings I am saving..lol

Personally speaking, I'm a great fan of the England ladies beach volleyball team and shall be watching, with great academic interest, this years championships at bracing Skegness.

Far better than the football world cup. Just my opinion, of course :-)
