About this jumping up and down business.

Does it happen after you have typed a bit in this text box. When your cursor reaches a little way down the box the box does not move downwards with your typing.

Is that what is happening.

If it is do the following. If that is not what is happening, ignore this next bit and I will go away.

Go up to the menu bar above and select "Tools" go down to "Compatibility View" and select it. It should have a tick beside it.

If it does already, you are on your own. If you are using Firefox, I have no idea of the equivalent fix.

This has been a helpful message from Aunty Sherlock, who knows absolutely nothing about why this happens but received the info from a more knowledgeable computer guru and found it worked real beaut!!!

Thank you,Aunty Sherlock. That is what was happening to me yesterday when I was writing about my lovely d.i.l and It was bad enough having to write it ,without the hassle of not seeing what I'd written.
also thankyou to Ann for bringing it to our attention.

AuntySherlock,

Mine started jumping about the time I changed my internet browser.

So did as you suggested and it is fine now

Thank you

I have Firefox and it has only recently started doing it. Strangely it does seem OK today.

Ha! I think that might be the key. Changing the internet browser. I think my guru updated my browser when he worked on my computer.

Google "compatibility view in Firefox" Ann and see if that brings up an option which can be selected. That is, if it starts playing up again.
