Taken delivery of my new three piece suite (well, two piece really) - but how much do I love the remote controlled extension... on which my legs are resting as I write.

So...here I am, almost horizontal, wine glass to my left, cd controller to my right. God's in his heaven and all's right with the world.

If your electricity provider decides to turn off the electricity just take care your legs are not in the horizontal position, resting as they are now.

You will have the hilarious experience of removing your self from chair of paradise without lowering the footrest.

I still giggle when I visualize my OH doing just that!!

I've just mixed up the remote controls. Much as I love her, I was trying to eject Paloma Faith - and now I'm vertical again. And Paloma is replaying. I'll get the hang of this one of these days....

Is there a lesson here. Should you have taken you glass of vino and the CD remote to the place of purchase and thoroughly tested out the vehicle, whoops sorry, furniture before parting with your money.

Ha I can just see you lying back being waited on hand and foot by the assistant who would be hoping this strange person would decide very quickly which sofa suited her purpose.
