Possible infection, or mastoid. Don't get so close to many ears., but worked in the same office as a poor girl who had a mastoid and that really stank.

How did you know the smell was coming from behind the ears?????

Could it have been from coming anywhere else in that region? Smelly hair/head, smelly nose, smelly breff??

Hayley ....I'm curious as to how you can be certain the smell emanated from behind whoever's ears ?

I was in a post office queue a few days ago and someone had a right niff on but I couldn't be sure who it was . I tryed holding my breath for as long as possiable but began to feel dizzy after awhile .

W"E are still plodding on, thank you.

I know what you mean about smells, it's BO that gets to me, A young man at the Railway modeling club had terrinble BO and being tactful I took in some deodrant and gave it to him, he said thanks but it's...... his girl friend who needs it not me.

Another thing is standing behind someone, especially men who don't change their undercrackers very often and my goodness do they crack.

What about standing behind someone wearing a well used wax jacket. Can be enough to knock you back.

Have you ever been jammed up close to someone who has hair that's in need of a wash?
Now that is an unpleasant smell.
