I used to love it in the winter when I was a nipper, getting a long twig and bending it in half and going round collecting the frost coated webs and making a lovely lacey pattern. Don't mind spiders at all, I'm the one who usually has to get rid of them in the house.

am I being over sensitive or are the spider webs thicker this year ?
several in the garden seem to feel almost as thick as string
or
have I got a mutant spider
