Am I being really dumb? I can't seem to find details anywhere on here of how many credits it costs to view different types of records. I was going to buy some pay to view credits but not sure whether to. Can anyone advise?

you cant view actual certs only get the GRO ref which you will need to order them
Hope you not considering buying units on genes cos they dont hold records, only charge you to be directed to other sites
Your first post of call should be FreeBMD which as the name says is FREE, after that you will need subs to either Ancestry or Find MY Past Ancestry do offer a 14 day free trial
