Molly (black &very woolly) kept going outside & laying in the very hot sunshine, coming in reluctantly when told to do so, but creeping out again as soon as she could.
I decided that it was an ideal day to give her a bath.
Did so & put her outside to shake then dry off in the sun.... where is she? Behind the couch under the fan!!

Benson has refused a bath in the house
just refuses point blank to go upstairs
so i have bought him a plasters bath to bathe him on the patio
its just a bit smaller than a normal bath
and as peggys very old she will think her birthdays come

so just need my body building son home from turkey to lift them in

good tip i always rinse them in lenor
five days of freshness then they stink like dogs again

I use tea tree conditioner on Molly as it seems to stop flies bothering her.

I've got three Lurches and only one of them has been bathed once......poor thing looked so petrified I wouldn't want to put her through it again unless I had too .
They quite enjoy a splosh in the sea or a river if they get the chance ...lol

I gave up trying to carry my Lab. upstairs years ago, she knew what was coming. Nowdays we just go down the beach or the river and she's in there like a shot. She's almost seventeen, going blind, almost deaf and can hardly walk but boy she can still swim!

My dog gets a hose down in the garden in this heat when I water everything. He LOVES it.He barks his head off and jumps to try and get the end of the hose.Trouble is he swallows so much water he then spends the rest of the evening weeing lol

My dog won't even go in the bathroom. I fill up two or three buckets of (warm) water and wash and rinse him out on the "patio". It's funny as soon as I grab the baby shampoo he is backing away from me curling his lip, but once started on the process he stands good as gold until I've finished.

One dog I used to have - she was mainly white - would come in from a long and often muddy walk and make her way to the bathroom and jump straight into the bath and wait to be showered down - she was a rescue dog and had been well-trained! So funny.

Other than that no apologies for fashion given,

My little 'un will be wearing the latest in watered hats ( or flannels)
Do not be enticed by the we water these they don't this is the ONLY pet self watering water system, (unhealthy ones use URINE *shock* *ghast*

etc etc etc sos I actually wandered off and fed the said animals ...

Keep them cool, but keep them happy.

Jill my 2 are funny they both love the beach and Mini swims more than Minx (well she only has likkle legs ) Mini also loves a shower ..no way for minx. But Minx will stamp in puddles and the 1st take into the pool on she love it., unlike Mini but give them space MINX stays up in arms and Min swims
